YOUR PRIVACY.

What we collect, why we collect it, and what stays yours. We treat your data the way we treat the work — with restraint.

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run your account, process payments, and let you read what you have unlocked. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers.

The detail below explains what we hold, why, and the choices you have.

002

What we collect

Account data: your email address, an encrypted password, and the country you select. We never store your password in readable form.

Purchase data: which issues you own and the records tied to each transaction. Payments are handled by Whop, our payment processor — we receive confirmation and a reference, not your full card number.

Technical data: basic, security-related information such as session activity needed to keep your account safe and the platform working.

003

Why we use it

To create and secure your account, to unlock and deliver the issues you buy, to restore access when you reset a password, and to contact you about your account or purchases.

We watermark each issue you read with details tied to your account. This is a deterrent against unauthorised sharing and a core part of how the platform protects contributors.

004

Who we share it with

A small set of service providers act on our behalf: Supabase (authentication, database, and secure storage) and Whop (payments). They process data only to provide their service to us.

We may disclose information if required by law. Beyond that, we do not share, rent, or sell your personal data to anyone.

005

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences such as your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

006

How long we keep it

We keep account and purchase data for as long as your account exists, so that the issues you own remain accessible. Some records may be retained longer where the law requires it.

When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep limited records for legal or accounting reasons.

007

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

You can manage your email and country from your account, change your password at any time, and close your account. For anything else, write to us and we will respond.

008

Security

Passwords are hashed, issue files are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links, and access is restricted to your authenticated account. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for protection rather than convenience.
